1979 Jeep Cherokee Chief. 4 WD It was bought new in the dry desert.
So......next to no rust!!! The paint is believed to be original.
The color is for sure.....Mandarin Orange. Pretty rare color from
what I'm told. The past owner removed the 79 front grill for the
older style Jeep grill that was used back in the late 60's - early
70's. It does look great!!!! There was no cuts or changes to
original sheet metal to do this. Easy to change back if you want.
The Chief has its original 360 V8 that was rebuilt a few years
back, power steering, power disc brakes, tilt steering column, and
working very cold air conditioning. The original native American
theme interior is very cool and in great shape. It could use some
new carpet. These trucks and rare compared to Bronco's and Blazers
etc. I like the two door Chief's better than the four door
Wagoneer's. The high and low Four Wheel Drive works as it should.
The lights, turn signals, wipers work. All the gauges work except
the fuel gauge. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at
