For Sale: 1969 Ford Mustang in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

Exceptional! This is a gorgeous Mach 1: the sleek lines, great colors, stripes, spoilers, wheels etc. In and out the fit and finish is impressive. Great performance too with a built up motor and 5-speed trans.

EXTERIOR: I'm in love! This is one of the best looking cars I've seen. The body is amazing on this car. I do believe it to be a clean rust free car to begin with. It is absolutely straight, the gaps are excellent and the doors shut like a new car. It is smooth from the rockers to the roof. Repainted in the beautiful Acapulco Blue. The metal flake paint is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished like glass. The blackout hood treatment and the Mach 1 decal stripes look great. It's further dressed up with spoilers, louvers, sport mirrors and a hood scoop with built in turn signals. It also appears that all the chrome, stainless trim, antenna, door handles have been replaced. The 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels are sparkling like new, wrapped in BFGoodrich tires and they are a little wider in the back. The windshield and weatherstrips have been replaced.

INTERIOR: It has the sports interior which includes high back bucket seats and molded door panels. The seats were recushioned and upholstered, the door panels were replaced. The carpet was replaced, and it has Mach 1 mats. The headliner and visors are new. The gauges are original, the clock lense is cloudy. New seatbelts front and back. Upgraded Walnut steering wheel.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Performance built 351 Windsor with a hotter cam, AFR aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb, MSD ignition system and headers. It is using Ford Racing plug wires and is dressed up with Ford Racing valve covers and air cleaner. The engine has very clean metal with factory spot welds still showing. It is very neatly painted and has new bolts. It is a very clean and proper motor compartment.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb were repainted gloss Acapulco Blue. The weather strip, trunk latch and mat have been replaced. Inside the trunk compartment is clean and also painted blue.

UNDERSIDE: The floors, torque boxes, frame rails appear to be pristine rust free metal. Really, this is among the best I've seen! It was sprayed in the red oxide primer, no undercoat. It appears all of the suspension and steering has been rebuilt. Upgraded with gas shocks, tubular traction bars and frame connectors. It has great sounding dual exhaust with x-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. The brake system looks like it was mostly replaced, it has disc in front and the e-brake is hooked up. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. Looking up at the motor it is still spotless. The transmission was upgraded to a Tremec 5-speed manual. The drive shaft was rebuilt, and the rear end was inspected and serviced. It's detailed very nicely under this car.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the water pump, fixed the reverse lights and the horns, greased the front end, and installed both new window regulators.

After my inspection I like the car even more. I'm bragging about it to my coworkers! Turnkey ready to show off and shift some gears.
