#s matching, documented with original window sticker and fender
tag. 1 owner for 30 years! It was a clean car to start with and has
been restored to excellent condition.
EXTERIOR: This is one of the best looking Coronet R/Ts I've seen in
a long time. Very masculine body, it has the optional hood and
quarter panel scoops. I think it's a rich looking color with the
saddle top. The wheels really look tough! 15 inch Magnum 500s with
BFG tires extra, extra wide in back. The body was media blasted
bare, it has clean solid metal. It is straight and fits right doors
shut like new. The original Dark Bronze metallic was laid out
evenly and given a glossy clear coat finish. The bumpers were
rechromed, emblems on the scoops are NOS, window and rocker
moldings were replaced. The grill and tail panel look great. It has
a Legendary vinyl top, weatherstrips were replaced and the
bumblebee decal stripe still looks new.
INTERIOR: The saddle interior is the perfect complement to the
exterior. It is a premium reproduction Legendary interior. The
seats were recushioned and reupholstered. Door panels were
replaced, the metal trim is painted like the exterior. It has a
great looking dash area because it was replaced: new dash,
instrument panel and a complete set of Rallye gauges including a
tachometer. The factory Am-Fm radio has been upgraded with modern
electronic internals. New reproduction sport steering wheel looks
sharp. Down on the floor is fresh carpet and the center console is
in excellent shape. It has a complete set of original seatbelts.
Interior lights all work.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is where it gets really good! That is a
VIN #s matching 440-375 hp with original Ramcharger induction.
Stock intake, valve covers and air cleaner assembly. It also has
optional power steering and brakes. All the components look clean
and proper, wiring and hoses are run neatly. The squirters are
hooked up, the battery is properly secured and the horns work. The
engine bay is clean metal, the hidden vin matches, and it has its
original fender tag.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid is painted slick. It has
reproduction decals and mat. It also includes a 5th matching Magnum
wheel and BFG tire for a spare. The jack assembly is there too.
UNDERSIDE: It appears to be very clean metal, the floors and frame
rails. The steering, brakes and suspension have been maintained;
traction bars were added. The custom exhaust has stainless electric
dumps, stainless Magnaflow mufflers and stock chrome tips. The fuel
tank looks fresh. Looking up at the motor it is clean. The casting
numbers and dates are visible along with the VIN stamped by the oil
pan. It has a correct 727 Torqueflite automatic trans and a Sure
Grip rear with 3.23 gears.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the coil, reverse light
bulbs, horn, and relay. We tightened the swaybar, hooked up the
exhaust cutouts, installed the battery hold down and new hood
pins.
I am impressed. It's a tough, yet classy looking muscle car with
great options. It is exceptionally clean, the new owner should be
proud!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
