When the R35-generation Nissan GT-R debuted in 2008, it shattered
records in truly heroic fashion, lapping the punishing N�rburgring
Nordschleife in just 7 minutes and 29 seconds. Faster around almost
any track than virtually anything money could buy, the new
"Godzilla" evolved through a succession of Black Editions and Track
Editions, until 2020, when Nissan introduced the sublime
culmination of this legendary lineage as the new GT-R NISMO.
The hand-assembled 3.8-liter V6 engine, now featuring turbochargers
borrowed directly from Nissan's GT-R GT3-class race car, built
boost faster, resulting in a formidable output of 600 horsepower.
The NISMO's performance credentials were further enhanced by a
significant weight reduction program, shedding nearly 67 pounds in
total compared to its predecessor. The NISMO's track-focused nature
was immediately apparent in its chassis and braking system. The
suspension was meticulously tuned for enhanced precision and
feedback while massive carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes with
eye-catching yellow calipers provided exceptional stopping power.
Up front, 16.1 inch discs were gripped by six-piston calipers,
while the rear employed 15.4 inch rotors with four-piston
units.
Visually, the NISMO commanded attention with a radically aggressive
stance. The exterior showcased extensive carbon fiber, including a
new hood that replaced the aluminum unit of the standard GT-R. The
roof and fenders, too, were crafted from this lightweight material,
contributing to further weight reduction at the front end. A
titanium exhaust system, adorned with distinctive burnished blue
tips, provided an auditory experience to match the car's visual
drama.
One of only 300 units produced, this particular 2021 Nissan GT-R
NISMO was purchased new by its original owner in Winnipeg,
Manitoba, Canada, in June 2021. Finished in the NISMO-specific
Pearl White with striking red accents, the car's specification is
further complemented by 20 inch RAYS wheels and an abundance of
carbon-fiber bodywork, including the front splitter, front and rear
fascias, rocker panels, and rear wing. Inside, the heated and
power-adjustable Recaro front seats are upholstered in black
leather with red Alcantara inserts, emblazoned with NISMO
embroidery. Red contrast stitching extends throughout the interior,
accenting the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Modern
conveniences have not been overlooked in the name of performance,
with the GT-R NISMO featuring dual-zone automatic climate control,
an eight inch NissanConnect touchscreen infotainment system with
Apple CarPlay, and a premium BOSE sound system boasting eleven
speakers and dual subwoofers.
Acquired by the Texas-based consignor in July 2023 with only 900
kilometers shown at the time, this 2021 Nissan GT-R NISMO has
traveled only an additional 325 kilometers since, and now presents
a rare opportunity to acquire an essentially new example of
Nissan's ultimate road-going performance machine. The current owner
has further enhanced the car with an aftermarket titanium cat-back
exhaust system, while the original stock exhaust system is included
in the sale, allowing the next owner the flexibility to revert to
factory specifications if desired. Additionally, the car features
full exterior paint protection film, ensuring its pristine
condition for years to come.
With its limited production, exceptionally low mileage, and
