This 3/4 Ton 1996 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 LS is a super nice and
really clean 2 Owner vehicle that spent its life in Oregon and
Idaho. This truck has been well cared for and it shows. This is a
really nice example of this vintage of Suburban and they are
getting harder and harder to find. The body on this rig is clean
and straight. The Indigo Blue Metallic and Silver paint appears to
be all original and still looks great! It really is an awesome
color combo. All of the chrome, trim, and moldings appear to be
original and are also in great condition. The underside is super
clean and we found no rust issues with this Suburban anywhere.
The interior is in excellent shape. It is an extremely nice
original interior. The seats, carpet, dash, dash bezel, door
panels, and headliner are all original and in excellent condition.
The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are all
working. It has working power windows and power locks. It has tilt
wheel and working cruise control. It has working power mirrors and
working power seat. The horn and windshield wipers work. It has
working front and rear heat and AC too!
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives
wonderful. The engine is the original 7.4L 454 V8 that runs strong
with no issues or red flags that we found. It appears to be totally
stock. It has the 4L80E Automatic transmission that shifts nice and
it is mated to the np241 transfer case. The 4WD works like it
should. It has the Corporate 14 Bolt rear end with 3.73 gears and a
factory limited slip. The front end is the IFS with 3.73 gears.
This is all sitting on a nice set of aftermarket rims with All
Terrain tires size 265/75/16. These are awesome and versatile
vehicles you can drive everyday or use it for trips or
whatever.
