Vehicle Description

1947 International Harvester KB-2 Pickup.

Sold new in Nebraska. Frame Off Restoration competed in 2010. 

Drive train is from a 1982 Monte Carlo with low miles, 

4.4Liter 267 C.I. V8 w/ a Turbo 350 Transmission. 

Single Exhaust System.. Power Disc Brakes & Power Steering. 


 

Pictures of the frame off Restoration, Owners manual, Tons of Receipts, The amount of record keeping, 

Maintenance records, Part numbers for replacement parts is overwhelming.

 

Body was removed from the frame, The frame was sandblasted, 

Frame, Firewall, Rear End, Floor of cab, Insides of front fender wells, 

Bottom of truck bed, Insides of Rear Renders, Then all painted with "POR 15.. 

The truck was reassembled, The body & bed was then painted maroon w/ black fenders.

The grill & bumpers were rechromed & reinstalled. 

New weather stripping on crank out windshield & doors.

New door window felt kit. New cowl vent seal, Etc...

 

Custom Fabricated full length Running Boards. Very cool directional blinkers installed.. 

Steel 16" wheels with Chrome Caps & 700R16 Coker 3 1/2" white walls tires.. 

Excellent glass, Roll out front windshield. 

A killer touch is the triple road flare carriers on both sides. Correct Mirrors.. International mud flaps..  

 

The interior is stunning, Gennie TH 350 Shifter 23".. Flaming River Steering Column.. 

Kwik Wiring 14 Circuit Wiring Harness.. Awesome dash, Extra working gauges, dash lights work, fuel gauge works. 

Still push button start. Excellent seat, Headliner & floor covering. Cool ass steering wheel.. 

 

Under the hood is beautiful... The small block chevy engine is dressed nicely w/ Polished finned valve covers & air cleaner. 

Aluminum dominator intake, Holley 4bbl carb, Performance Rod & Custom Aluminum Radiator.. 

Polished fan shroud. Ahooga horn.. 

 

The undercarriage is spectacular on this 47 International, Attention to detail, Proper Fit & Function, 

Modifications include: Fat Man Incorporated Mustang II, Stage II Front End, Independent Front Suspension, 

Chrome Tubular Control Arms. Hellwig Rear Sway Bar, 18" Finned Aluminum Transmission Cooler..

The Battery Relocated in the truck box.. Spare tire properly stowed in the factory location. 

 

I'm not sure what kinda Time & Money was spent on this truck to get to this point,, 

But I'm pretty sure it would cost in excess of 50k today.. 

Keep in mind the paint is over 16 years old & has some minor patina / touch ups..

A seldom seen post war pickup for sure!! Massachusetts state inspected, Horn, 

Blinkers, Brake lights, Headlights, Hi low beam, Suspension etc.. Massachusetts title...

 

Today this truck Runs Excellent!! Purrs like a kitty!! Drives Excellent!! 

Looks damn good & it's reliable as heck.. A TurnKey Cruiser!!!
