1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Restomod - Killer build on a desireable and hard to find Chevelle droptop with everything you need for Show & Go! This original 396 super sport car was fully restored just under 10 years ago by the previous long-time owner but has just received a complete modern-day makeover in the spring of 2024. Now powered by a STOUT dynotuned 6.2L "LSA" Supercharged-V8 with a few performance goodies added on to produce roughly 650+ horsepower! All that power is put to the pavement through a freshly built 4L60E automatic-OD transmission and a new Eaton "TrueTrac" posi-rear with 3.73 gears. Underneath has also been "beefed up" with a full suspension kit from Hotchkis and EMI Performance with Bilstein shocks, power disc brakes with an upgraded Wilwood booster and an upgraded power steering unit. This monster sounds as good as it looks thanks to a custom set of headers and a True-Flow stainless dual exhaust system. She's a real blast to drive and a very reliable cruiser at any speeds but plant that pedal foot down and HOLD ON! A brand new set of 15" aluminum SS wheels wrapped in BFG white letter radial tires really complete the iconic muscle car look BUT a set of 17" US MAGS are also available for a more modern stance. Exterior is finished in the stunning and factory optioned "Astro Blue" with correct white rally stripes. The white convertible top contrasts nicely and presents itself very well as does all the chrome and trim from front to back. Interior continues the factory correct vibes finished in the original optioned "medium blue" vinyl throughout with bucket seats and center console. A set of Dakota Digital "RTX" gauges have been added along with an AM/FM/Bluetooth radio and a complete "Vintage Air" AC/Heat system to keep cruising comfortable in any conditions. The underside is nicely detailed with a fresh appearance as well as under the hood.
