The Chevrolet SSR (Super Sport Roadster) was based on a concept car
introduced at the 2000 Detroit Auto Show. It was produced from
model year 2004 through 2006 and built at the GM Craft Design
Centre in Lansing, Michigan. Designed around the Chevy Trailblazer
EXT platform, the SSR was a unique hybrid pickup with retro styling
and muscle car performance. This 2004 SSR LS is a well maintained
example of the SSR model. The original 'Redline Red' finish is
accented by factory 19x8"f/20x10"r alloys that mount performance
radials. Features include a power retractable vertical-stacking
hardtop, sport mirrors, fog lights and a cargo bed equipped with a
steel tonneau cover. Life inside the Ebony Leather interior is very
luxurious. The Preferred Equipment Package (ISB) includes amenities
such as heated power seats, air conditioning, leather wheel and
full gauge package. Additional features include dual front/side
airbags, cruise, power tinted windows, power locks, Bose
AM/FM/6-disc CD sound system and a Driver Info Display.
Under the hood is an aluminum 5.3L Vortec V-8 that produces
300bhp/335lb/ft of torque. It is mated to a four-speed/OD automatic
gearbox and 10-bolt posi-traction differential with 3.73:1 gearing
and traction control. The chassis features the Sport Handling
Package, power steering, gas shocks, five-link rear suspension and
front/rear sway bars. Stopping power comes from four-wheel ABS
12"/12.8" disc brakes with GM electronic Brakeforce Distribution.
When you need to get some work done, there is a 2" receiver for a
trailer hitch. This stunning 2004 SSR 'Corvette' pickup will turn
heads and out-perform many boulevard muscle cars. ALL VEHICLES SOLD
"AS IS".
