Second-Generation Ford Broncos were only produced for two years,
making them an uncommon sight and sought after by enthusiasts
today. These Broncos are tough and many were used and abused to the
end, however a few have survived and this is one of them, and it is
very special. Making this restored 1978 Ford Bronco unique is not
only its excellent condition, but the list of enhancements.
Starting with the most noticeable is the lift kit that raises it up
high enough to comfortably clear the aggressive 35x12.50/R15 BF
Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires mounted on 15-inch polished bullet
style wheels that make this tough Ford look even tougher, affording
it to have much enhanced off-road capabilities. Rancho adjustable
shocks and a new stabilizer bar add stability and drivability both
on the road or off on a trail.
Deep gloss maroon metallic paint with a Black painted Mach 1 style
stripe gives this classic Bronco a unique, sporty look that pays
homage to the great company's performance history. Up front is an
impressive custom front bumper fitted with a winch, fog light and
LED light bar to help blaze trail at night. A heavy-duty custom
bumper is also in the rear of the Bronco, along with a matching
spare wheel and tire on a swing-out mount.
Use the side protection rails with built-in steps to easily enter
the interior that has been upgraded with comfortable front seats
and fold-down armrest from a newer truck, custom wood-grain
steering wheel on a tilt column, and a Kenwood CD player that is
Bluetooth, Sirius XM and Pandora compatible.

Powering this rare 4x4 is Ford's famously rugged 400 cubic inch V8
engine mated to a 3-speed C-6 automatic transmission. The engine
features an aluminum Weiland intake manifold topped with a Holley
4-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock air cleaner, Champion aluminum
radiator with electric fans, custom aluminum valve covers and
long-tube headers that breathe out through dual exhaust that rumble
with Flowmaster mufflers.
