Vehicle Description
This 1952 Chevrolet 5700 custom hauler underwent a ground-up
restoration and is powered by a period-correct 1958 235ci inline-6
engine with 12-volt conversion backed by the original 4-speed
manual transmission with a 2-speed vacuum-operated rear end that
works as it should. It has all-original cab sheet metal finished in
correct single-stage Cape Maroon paint. It rides on six new General
tires and features new brakes. This COE was found in an apple
orchard barn in Virginia and was originally a stake-bed truck used
once a year to haul apples to the local farmer's market. It was
converted to a car carrier with a remote winch, hidden ramps under
the bed and a stainless-steel side storage compartment. From The
Laymon Family Collection. ** PREVIEW
