Vehicle Description
This 1988 Ferrari Testarossa is powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12
engine factory-rated at 380hp and 354 ft/lbs of torque. Power is
sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle with a
limited-slip differential. Braking is handled by 4-wheel ventilated
discs. The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa and
features pop-up headlights, fog lights, an asymmetrical cooling
duct beneath the left fog lamp, side intake strakes, Scuderia
Ferrari fender shields, black-finished rocker panels and quad
exhaust outlets. It rides on silver 16-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels
that were replaced and fitted with BFGoodrich g-Force sport tires
in 2016. The interior is trimmed in beige Connolly leather
upholstery over the seats, door panels and lower dashboard. The
interior amenities include motorized seat belts, an Alpine stereo
head unit and a gated shifter located on the center console,
alongside controls for the air conditioning, rear window defroster
and power windows. The 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel
frames Veglia instrumentation, including a 200-mph speedometer, a
tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, and gauges for oil pressure
and coolant temperature. A clock and auxiliary gauges for fuel
level and oil temperature are housed in the center stack. In 2016,
some work included powder-coating the subframe and underside
components, refinishing the front spoiler and front bumper cover,
replacing the tires, wheels, tie rods, front shocks, clutch
assembly and timing belts. Also, a timing belt replacement and
service was completed, at which time the drive belts, battery, fuel
filter, fuel injectors, oxygen sensor, ignition rotor and coolant
hoses were replaced. Clean CARFAX. ** PREVIEW
