Vehicle Description
This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette custom coupe was professionally
restored and custom built by Todd Compton Classic Corvettes. It is
a fresh build completed in September 2024 with test/tune miles.
Power comes from a new BluePrint Engines 555hp 6.2-liter LS3
engine, with a 3-year warranty. The engine is backed by a Tremec
TKO 5-speed manual transmission putting power to the pavement
through an independent rear suspension using an 8.8 rear
differential. The engine is dressed in billet Corvette-scripted
valve covers and breathes through hand-built stainless-steel
headers feeding a dual side-pipe exhaust system. It is cooled with
a large aluminum radiator with twin fans. Its foundation is made
from Art Morrison mandrel-bent chassis rails equipped with GM C7
control arms and brakes, along with Flaming River power rack &
pinion steering, all assembled by Street Shop. Other equipment
includes a power-actuated hood, Detroit Speed wiper and headlight
controls, stainless fuel tank, stainless brake and fuel lines, and
an electronic e-brake system. This '66 Corvette rides on staggered
custom Schott wheels, 18x9-inch up front and 20x12-inch out back,
all wrapped in Nitto gold line tires. The exterior is expertly
finished in a blend of light blue with metallic added, named "Blue
Mountain Mist." It also has custom-machined side gills made from
billet aluminum by Tradye Machine & Tool. The show-quality exterior
results from great attention to fit and finish and has excellent
door gaps. The custom interior is trimmed in two-tone Cream and tan
with custom-sewn French seams. Billet accessories are used
throughout the interior, which also features a Vintage Air system,
power windows, power seats, Dakota Digital gauges and tinted
windows. This custom Corvette retains its original VIN and Trim
