1969 Mercedes 280SL Roadster
When one of our very preferred clients calls and says he has car to
sell us we simply say- yes. That's the case in this wonderfully
restored 280 SL Roadster. Our client called, we bought it and we
are glad to have it available to offer to its next caretaker.
Subjected to a wonderful, complete, ground up restoration a couple
years and 1600 miles ago this 280 Sl is stunning in restoration
quality and its simply beautiful color combination of blue metallic
over parchment.
Equipped with both the very desirable Pagoda Top and a beautiful
soft top this 280 has the look and the performance. The four speed
standard transmission has been upgraded to a Getrag 6-speed and boy
does that upgrade make for a wonderful cruiser. Factory
Airconditioning with an upgraded modern compressor is also present
on the option list.
We've had the opportunity to put a few miles on this beautiful
roadster and the driving experience is quite pleasant and as
competent as one would expect form Mercedes quality.
