This special 1963 Dodge Polara Super Stock Tribute is the second
Dodge Polara produced! Sequential VIN # 100002. The car has been
restored and improved over the years. Lots of paperwork is included
with the car including invoices dating back to 1997. This Dodge has
a strong running 1967 440 cubic inch engine with dual 600 CFM
carburetors mounted to a dual quad aluminum intake manifold. The
engine also features a Milodon deep oil pan, aluminum water pump,
new alternator, and 3 core radiator. The exhaust headers are 2.5"
ceramic coated TTI. The exhaust is a TTI 3" X-pipe ceramic coated
front to back with Flowmaster mufflers. The car sounds great! The
transmission is a 727 automatic. The 8 � rear end has 3.93 gears.
The brakes are Wilwood discs up front and drums on the rear. The
battery has been relocated to the trunk as a Super Stock car would
be. The car has not been tracked in over a decade, however the
paperwork indicates that a previous owner was an NHRA Tech
inspector in Michigan. He would drive the car to the track, run
13.2 passes in it, then drive home stopping for ice cream on the
way! The engine is smooth running and easy to start. It is an
excellent car to drive on the street! The body is straight with
good gaps. The paint is very good with few flaws to be seen. The
car has excellent glass all around and lots of new
weatherstripping. This Polara has welded subframe connectors which
help it handle the power. The chrome and brightwork are very good
throughout. Most of the trim appears new. The interior is
beautiful! It is presented in Red and White vinyl. The headliner is
perfect, the dash shows no cracks or fading, the carpet looks new,
the door panels are excellent, the seats show no wear. The steering
wheel is excellent with no cracks or wear. The car has auxiliary
gauges mounted neatly under the dash and a Moon Racing tachometer
is mounted on the top of the dash. A Kenwood AM/FM radio is tucked
under the dash and a CD changer is located in the trunk. The gauge
cluster is clear and the gauges function properly. This Polara
rides on 15" steel wheels in the rear. The rear tires are 28 x
11.50 Mickey Thompson ET Street and the fronts are 26 x 8.5 Mickey
Thompson Sportsman with 15 inch Torque Thrust wheels. This is a
nicely restored 1963 Dodge Polara Super Stock Tribute. It is
comfortable to drive on the street and it is VIN number 2! A very
