The introduction of the Ford Model T is a very important time in
automotive history. Henry Ford wanted to develop a car for the
masses and the Model T was that car. The Ford Model T was produced
from 1908 until 1927 and during that time, over 14,600,000 Model
T's were produced. This 1927 Ford Model T is a nice example of the
final year of these iconic antiques and benefits from plenty of
recent maintenance including a rebuilt magneto. This Model T's
exterior Black paint is older and does have age cracks present in
the paint throughout. The Model T's original steel body is very
straight and in excellent condition with no rust issues.
Complimenting the Black exterior of this Model T is a very nice
Black vinyl top and period correct wooden spoke wheels with Ford
hubcaps. The Model T's reupholstered Grey cloth interior is in very
nice condition throughout. Powering this great Model T is its
correct 177 cubic inch L-head 4-cylinder engine backed by its
2-speed planetary gearbox. Both the engine and transmission perform
just as they should with no issue. This Model T still operates on a
6-volt charging system but the original generator has been upgraded
to a late model alternator for better performance and reliability.
If you are in the market for a piece of automotive history or a
nice turn-key example of the first mass produced vehicle on the
market then you will want to take a very close look at this awesome
1927 Ford Model T Tudor Sedan.
