Vehicle Description
2009 Ford Mustang GT Coupe
When introduced at the 1964 World's Fair, the Ford Mustang began
the era of the "pony car". Named not for its title "Mustang" but
for ushering in a class of American Muscle cars, that were
affordable sporty coupes with long hoods, and short rear decks.
Wildly popular, the Mustang design flew off the showroom floors.
Even today current models make use of the running horse emblem that
has stayed with the car for 59 years.
Classic Auto Mall brings you this absolutely amazing climate
controlled garage kept fifth generation 2009 Mustang GT coupe. The
fun loving Mustang has become a personal luxury car that's classy
enough to make some Audi or BMW buyers think twice while retaining
that tire smoking exuberance expected of an American icon. Our
version from 2009 is a Premium Package 45th Anniversary edition and
our consignor is leaving this one go withtitle verified low miles,
16,532 to be exact. It has been well maintained and comes with a
bevy of stock parts that have been taken off in the name of more
ponies. Get it, Mustang...Horsepower...Ponies? All the while our
consignor chose to keep it real and keep it near perfect...read on
kids!
Exterior
Subtle and subdued Vapor Clearcoat Metallic with an up the hood
black tape stripe bathes this rad racer and is nearly perfect still
looking factory. This silver bullet features some throwbacks such
as the hockey stick cove, B pillar louvered quarter windows,
fastback styling, menacing inset round headlight and of course the
galloping steed on the blackened grille center. Down low is an
aftermarket chin spoiler and a faux hood scoop is on but the heart
of this pony is fed by a 300+hp 4.6 liter V8. Up high is a snazzy
treat, the optional Vista Roof....yes kids, it'san all glass roof
on a Mustang. What a time to be alive! On back, a spoiler in body
matching Vapor and the retro-throwback sequential triple tail
lights within a satin black panel take us back to the 1960's
styling that is now iconic. Dual exhaust creates the zoom zoom
sound and lightly tinted glass makes it look more menacing,
although it really needs no help in this department! Rounding
things out are highly polished 18-inch spoke bullet style wheels
with deeply treaded blackwall rubber. Just immaculate in this
presentation.
Interior
I wish I was special, you're so F+*@in special, and so is this
immaculate interior in Dark Charcoal. Starting with the sporty door
panels and moving inside to the Charcoal leather high backs, some
power some manual for the adjustments we are in Dark Charcoal
heaven. We note some sagging of the perforated inserts on the door
panels, a common failure point in these cars. These sporty chairs
are fronted by a snazzy brushed aluminum-esque covered dash with
the optional My Color LED readout instrumentation. Deep rounds,
just like the late 60's styling, are in and are flanking a digital
panel in the center with the fuel, water temp, oil pressure and
battery gauges. In the dash center is the factory AM/FM/6 CD Shaker
500 stereo which attempts to drown out the sound of the under hood
monster, but fails! Also here are eyeball vents and climate knobs
and buttons for thefront seat heaters. These items melt into the
central console which has a Barton short throw shifter, cup holders
and a padded topped armrest/glovebox. In back are 2 more leather
bucket seats in 2 plus 2 form and have plenty of bolster padding so
hold on, and belt in. Clean black carpeting is on the bottoms and
above is a perfect black headliner.
Drivetrain
The 4.6-liter 3 valve V8 engine produces 300hpand maybe a bit more
thanks to the added cold air intake, which is more than enough to
dole out a healthy whoopin' on the competition, but you wouldn't
want to do that with this well kept cruiser now would you? EFI
feeds the fossils and a 5-speed manual Tremec 3650 transmission is
bolted to the back. A Ford 8.8 inch 4.10 Trac-Loc rear axle spins
the rear tires. The long tube headers aids the big exhale, and the
intake plenum cover adds a nice touch in the showroom clean engine
bay.
Undercarriage
Clean, mean, and pristine, with all the latest tech to keep your
rubber to road. No leaks, no drips, no excuses. Silver calipers for
the 4 wheel power disc brakes are seen, and in front independent
coil springs are providing the ride. In back a 3 link, coil springs
and a panhard bar setup is on. All rust free in the factory finish
with the exception of surface rust on the untreated components. A
catted X-pipe and Flowmaster Force II are in charge of spent fossil
removal...and disturbing the peace.
Drive-Ability
It's a screamer, it's all like new, and it's a kick in the ass when
you push the loud pedal. All working functions, and a true pleasure
to drive and smile with a Cheshire cat grin while doing so. Go baby
go! While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were
working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these
functions will be working at the time of your purchase. Here's a
classic car you can drive!
This low mileage galloping stallion is just getting broken in. This
powerhouse is offered at a competitive price, deserves a close look
because you can get a lot of muscle for your money. Be the only one

Mustang GT.
