Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is pleased to present
this nicely preserved 1951 MG TD. The TD Midget was introduced in
January 1950, and it combined MG's TC drivetrain and the MG Y-type
chassis to produce the new 1951 TD model. This TD is powered by the
1,250 CC 4-cylinder engine that still retains the original brass MG
number tag, verifying the block is matching, and is teamed with a
4-speed manual transmission. This 1951 MG TD has a newer Cadillac
"Autumn Maple metallic" PPG exterior paint and vibrant darker red
leather interior and is also equipped with a black manual
convertible top with a beige canvas cover, seat belts, spare tire
and jack, original MG temperature Radiator cap, hub caps, radial
tires, "King of the Road" headlamps, the optional armrest, the
original "king Dick" tool set and even an antique Union Jack! Also
to be included will be a folder of various receipts & invoices
dating back to the early '80s.
