Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to digitally present
this 1971 GMC C1500 Short bed Pickup. The current owner obtained
this beauty locally out of Vegas and turned it into the beast it is
today. Walking around this pre-street '71 one should notice the
Mercedes Orange gloss paint that is offset with black accent trim.
Adding to the curb appeal are chrome bumpers, chrome mirrors,
chrome handles, dual side exhaust, tinted windows, side steps,
short-bed, light tan wood bed kit, 1-piece molded bed, frenched in
taillights, fuel cell located in the bed, and even an aggressive
mini-tubbed stance with rear air bags, and 15" Weld Racing rims
wrapped in Mickey Thompson radial tires. Jumping into the cab of
this recently restored piece of GM history, you instantly see the
exterior theme was carried inside to match. Sporting a custom black
leather bench seat with orange inserts, orange stitching, matching
dash pad, matching custom orange/black door panels, chrome accent
trim, tilt steering wheel, aftermarket Auto-Meter Pro Comp gauges,
White Hurst shifter on the floor, upgraded sound system with
Pioneer head unit and Rockford Fosgate speakers, and even a MSD
ignition setup. Powering this beast is a 383 CID V8 engine that is
mated to a performance built 4-speed manual transmission. The owner
states that the engine was rebuilt less than 1,000 miles ago and
has provided a dyno report from ATK High Performance Engines. The
report shows this truck is capable of 500 HP/505 FT TQ, prefers 91
plus octane, and is ready to run! Pushing this power to the ground
is a Ford 9" Rear with 3.70 gears. Under the hood is organized and
shows upgrades that include dual electric cooling fans, aluminum
Edelbrock intake, 1 Inch Headman headers, ATK HP Heads, Weiland
action long pump water pump, Quick Fuel 750CFM Carburetor, and so
on! This truck also provides ease of power steering and power
brakes. The owner provided a complete breakdown of the engine
specs, receipts from other items purchased for this build, and even
the dyno report. If you are looking for a built beast that needs
nothing but a new owner, this could be the one you have been
searching for!
