About the Model
The Gladiator JT was introduced for the 2020 model year as a 4-door pickup truck based on the Wrangler JL platform. The model takes its name from the original Jeep Gladiator made from 1962-1988 and is the first pickup truck Jeep has produced since the Comanche was discontinued in 1992. Originally offered with the 3.6L Pentastar V6, the Gladiator is available in a series of model trims with full-time or part-time 4WD and a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission. From 2021, the 3.0L EcoDiesel was an available option.
