1966 PONTIAC GTO ORIGINAL 389 TRI-POWER, 4-SPEED, PHS DOCUMENTED!
This 1966 Pontiac GTO presents itself well in its rare factory
color Blue Charcoal, code B. The fit and finish is good. The Blue
Charcoal paint has a lot of depth and a mirror like finish. The
front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed to a show finish. All
the stainless steel has been polished. The door handles, emblems,
tail light trim and headlight bezels have been replaced. All the
glass is clear. All weather stripping and fuzzies have been
replaced. It sits on a set of factory Rally 1 wheels wrapped with a
set of redline radial tires. The Blue interior is all new and has
that WOW factor up against the blue exterior. The woodgrain dash
has been redone, all the chrome around the bezels looks good and
the lenses are clear. The dash pad and grab bar are nice. The
bucket seats have new cushions and covers. It also has newer door
panels, armrests and bases, new carpet and sill plates. The
headliner is as tight as a drum. Looking forward at the dash there
is a restored, original blue steering wheel on a factory tilt
steering column. It also has Rally gauges and tach. It features a
Hurst shifter coming out of the console! The heater controls slide
with ease. It has a factory style retro AM/FM radio. It also
features front and rear seat belts. The engine compartment is
nicely detailed with its completely rebuilt correct 389 ci/360 hp
engine WS code. The tri-power has all been gone through. It has the
correct stock chrome valve covers. The ignition has been upgraded
to Pertronix HEI ignition. Many of the components look new; wiring,
hoses, fan shroud, fan and 4-core Harrison radiator. It has a new
cadmium plated power brake booster with a newer master cylinder and
has under hood insulation, GM radiator hose, factory style tower
clamps, factory spring type positive and negative battery cables.
The engine bay is painted in a nice satin black finish. The
undercarriage is clean and nicely detailed, original metal floors.

also finished in a satin black finish. The bottom of the motor is
clean along with the Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission. The
front suspension and steering have been completely rebuilt. It has
a newer gas tank, sending unit and fuel tank straps. It has 3:55
rear end gears. It also has dual exhaust with correct style
mufflers and correct trumpet exhaust tips running out the rear of
the car. The E-brake cables are hooked up and working. The trunk is
detailed with a coat of splatter paint and spare tire with jack
assembly. It also has new weather stripping. This GTO has the looks
