For Sale at Auction: 2006 Chevrolet Silverado in Scottsdale, Arizona

Honoring NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt and based on the Silverado SS, this 2006 Chevrolet Silverado SS Earnhardt Edition pickup is No. 36 of just 933 produced powered by a 6.0-liter V8 engine paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, with higher performance than stock delivered by an intercooled Magnuson supercharger, Borla headers and a Corsa exhaust system. While the Silverado SS already delivers 345hp and 380 ft/lbs of torque, the Earnhardt SS also has a lowered ride height and a high-performance suspension package, including two-stage multi-leaf rear springs, Tenneco shocks, a stiff front stabilizer bar and even more stiff front jounce bumpers. Equipped with rear-wheel drive, the Silverado SS Earnhardt Edition also included a 3.73 performance rear-axle ratio. Other highlights include a factory sunroof and satellite-capable OEM 6-disc CD stereo, Compustar remote starting, one-way FM pager, Retrax bed cover system, Evo forged wheels and off-road-only pace-car-style strobe lights. Protective covers are fitted to the front light lenses, and clear paint protection film preserves the front end, side skirts, rear bumper and rear spoiler. Exterior upgrades include Monochromatic Black paint and "Intimidator" badges to the front doors and rear of the truck. Other standard "Intimidator" features include silver grille inserts, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and 20-inch chrome wheels. Interior highlights include Dale Earnhardt Legacy logos embroidered to the front headrests and Earnhardt's signature on the tachometer face. An "Intimidator" badge graces the instrument panel and the floor mats have the "Intimidator" script. This special-edition pickup also has the standard features found on every Silverado SS, including cruise control, keyless entry, power-adjustable front seats, radio controls to the steering wheel, power windows, an engine oil cooler and a transmission fluid cooler.
