Cool and mostly original 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood for sale. The current owner purchased it from the original family in 2022 in the Napa Valley where it has lived since new. It is finished in Beacon Blue Iridescent with a Light Blue interior. It came equipped from the factory with soft ray-tinted glass, 6-way power seat adjusters, power trunk control, power door locks, air conditioner, and front & rear seat belts. It includes its original owner's manual and jacket, a receipt from the last owner for the engine rebuild, and over $20k in current repair receipts.
The 7L 429 cubic inch V8 starts, runs, and idles smoothly. It was rebuilt 34k miles ago by the first owners. The braking, suspension, and steering perform nicely and the new braking stops the car with ease. Over the last 300-400 miles since early 2023, nearly $20,000 going through the car mechanically making it safe and reliable to drive. The list is long but includes transmission mounts, motor mounts head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, braking system starter, exhaust, rebuilt carburetor, ignition systems, wheel bearings, and far too much to list. The exterior was repainted in its original Beacon Blue Iridescent under its prior ownership many years ago. The chrome, glass, stainless, and lenses look to be original. The fender skirts are present and the older tires should be replaced due to age. The body is solid with no signs of rust along with the undercarriage. Overall it presents well as a driver-quality car and even has its original black and gold, California-issued license plates.
Inside looks to be entirely original and pretty well preserved after 60 years though a new carpet kit and trunk liner would make a huge difference. The seating is comfortable, and the interior is mostly functional with a few items needing attention such as the power seat motor that works in forward/reverse but not up/down, rear power door locks, vent windows, radio tuning knob, and antenna, clock and air conditioning system. The horn, blinkers, trunk opener, and lighting are in working order.
