1973 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe- Red/Black 350 CID-Automatic
This '73 Corvette presents as an excellent opportunity to invest
the last year of the Chromed Bumper C3 Corvette at a reasonable
price point. This one has been in storage for several years as part
of a multiple car collection and is being offered for sale from the
Estate. Although it starts, runs and drives, it will require
mechanical work and cosmetic attention to be an excellent driver
and to be "casual show" worthy. It was taken from the storage space
to a local trusted mechanic and after draining and replacing the
fuel, it was started, adjustments to the carburetor were made, the
brake master cylinder and several lines were replaced, the
transmission was filled and the battery was replaced. It ran well
and was taken for a short drive. It was noted that the tachometer
needs repair, the calipers and pads will need to be replaced and
likely the tires as well. We have a copy of the work that was done
by the mechanic. The air cleaner is a K&N, the manifold and
carburetor are Edelbrock. The engine casting is 3970010, the engine
pad suffix indicates a Flint December 3rd of 1973 build with a CHH
suffix. The VIN does not match. Cosmetically, the overall paint
condition appears as an older repaint, although shows very well and
would benefit from a good cleaning and polish. The rear bumper
chrome is dull and pitted. The interior shows overall as original
and well preserved for the age. The wheels are chromed Cragar S/S 5
spoke on BF Goodrich G Force Tires. Factory options include Power
Windows, Steering and Brakes and the Tilt-Telescopic Steering
Column.
The mileage showing is 95,850.
Inspections are always welcomed and encouraged.
