enthusiast and collector here in Michigan where he enjoyed the car
on fair weather days, Local shows, and Car + Coffees events.
Driving the car on average a mere ~100 miles per year throughout
his 13 years of ownership. Frame off Restoration highlights
included sandblasting and recoating the original frame, restoring
the original floors to a like new condition! Reconditioning of
original chrome and trim, complete engine rebuild, and refinishing
of the original color Cortez Silver. 2023 LaFontaine Classic Cars
Rejuvenation Highlights included all fluids + filters, valve
adjustment, carburetor rebuild, spark plugs, and a comprehensive
Multi-step paint correction and coating to preserve + protect this
special car for years to come! In preparation of this car joining
the new owners collection another Comprehensive Pre-Purchase
Inspection will be performed before delivery.
The condition of this iconic one year only car is exceptional and
could certainly pass for having been restored half as many years
ago! Always pampered and respectfully enjoyed! The exterior paint
has a deep glossy finish that shows very well with no significant
flaws or blemishes. All body panels are original, as is much of the
trim! The original interior has been excellently preserved and
features Black buckets, center console and new carpet. The
crack-free dash, instruments, and AM Push Button Radio are
well-preserved and operational. Always garaged, never driven in
inclement weather, Non-Smoker!
This Copo comes complete with 2-keys, owners manual, binder full of
history/service/restoration documentation going back to the orignal
owner as well as GM of Canada Documentation, Jerry MacNeish
