A classic that for many defines the 911. The 964 was born in Stuttgart between 1989 and 1995. Compared to its predecessor, the 964 was 85% different, with many modifications and improvements. Once again, that raw 3.6-liter air-cooled boxer behind you, known as the M64. Atmospheric power that, as a car enthusiast, you simply can’t start without a smile or a giggle.
The 964 was so much faster than its predecessor that in 1989 only the Carrera 4 (4×4) was available. Once all the technology had caught up with the new powerplant, the Carrera 2 was born. Much lighter and rear-wheel drive. Sounds like a ‘perfect recipe’ for car enthusiasts, right?
This Porsche 964 Cabriolet was born in 1990 at Porsche Centrum Hamburg. After a few years and some ‘Leerlaufzeite’ in the German Alps, it arrived on Dutch soil in 1997. Diligently stamped by several Porsche Specialists before this example made its way to our showroom. A fully leather interior with beautiful Arctic Silver paint, just as you’d want it. In summary, we can only say that this is a matching numbers example, yearning for more kilometers. With fantastic looks and unique driving characteristics, this will undoubtedly become a car that will only grow more appreciated in the future. Will we see you soon?
