The name "Camaro" was chosen to suggest the camaraderie of good
friends, as a personal car should be to its owner.
The 1967 Camaro's styling was inspired by Super Nova concept car,
which was designed to compete with the Ford Mustang. The Camaro's
windshield rake, roofline, rear sail panels, and trunk lid shape
were all influenced by the Super Nova.
The RS, SS and Z/28 were the three main trim packages available for
the 1967 Camaro. The RS package included cosmetic options like
concealed headlights, a different grille, and back-up lights under
the rear bumper.
Our 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS has gone through a restoration, has
been owned and had a great deal of care for many years! The
restoration included the date code correct 327 engine, Holley
carburetor, brakes, calibers, and many other items for the Camaro
so it would still look as if was finished yesterday retaining its
original appearance and handling with superior drive!
