About the model
The Land Rover 110 Station Wagon was the direct successor of the One Ten Wagon (or Station Wagon) and was the first variant of the new Defender L316 generation introduced by Land Rover in 1990. Production of the Second Generation 110 variant, known as the Defender 110 because of its wheelbase length, began for the 1990 model year as the entire Defender line-up received a name and powertrain options update. Throughout this versatile SUV's second generation, it was produced in various body variations. The Defender was available in a Four-Door Wagon, Two-Door Hard-Top, Soft-Top, Pickup, and Double-Cab Pickup. The L316 110 was also available as the 110 NAS Hard Top for the North American and Canadian markets. The second generation also saw a score of powerplants, from the diesel 2.2L, 2.4L, and 2.5L to the gasoline engines such as a BMW I6, a supercharged Jaguar V8, and a Rover V8. Power was pushed through a variety of five and six-speed manuals or a ZF four-speed automatic. The 2020 L663 Variant succeeded the Defender 110.
