There are certain automobiles whose design simply never grows old,
and the Jaguar XKE is unquestionably one of them. This 1970 Jaguar
XKE Series II Roadster is a particularly striking example, finished
in a rich deep red with a black interior and black convertible
top.
The long sculpted bonnet, open two-seat cockpit, chrome wire
wheels, whitewall tires and unmistakable XKE profile make this
Jaguar impressive from virtually every angle. With the top down, it
has exactly the sporting character that made the E-Type one of the
most celebrated British sports cars ever built.
Under that famous bonnet is Jaguar's inline six-cylinder engine
paired with a manual transmission. This XKE runs and drives great
and is ready to be enjoyed rather than simply admired in a

The black interior presents beautifully, with the classic
wood-rimmed steering wheel, traditional Jaguar instrumentation and
beautifully shaped bucket seats. A black convertible top

top header bow, top straps, floor pans, rust treatment, seam
sealing and undercoating, carpeting and insulation, rocker vinyl,
driver's seat cushion and interior trim.
Additional records document other maintenance and repairs,
including lighting and brake-related work, along with parts
purchased from Moss Motors.
This is important work on any vintage Jaguar and represents
considerable time and expense already invested in the
automobile.
The car was manufactured in March 1970 and carries chassis/VIN
P1R13031. The odometer currently displays approximately 94,033
miles.
