I recently inherited this classic 1951 Ford Woody. My dad used to love driving it on weekends, then one day drove it into his garage, turned itr off, put on the emergency brake, left the key in the ignition, and walked away from it (his new wife did not like the lack of safety features...). The car has not been driven in 20+ years. Metal frame and body appear to be in good shape. Exterior woods needs to be replaced. Interior in very good shape. Needs mechanical work but I don't know how much; I did not try to start it as I did not want to do any damage to the engine. I would love to keep the car and work on it, but I live in DC and have no place to store it or time for that labor of love. Would be a great car for drives on country roads, or down to the beach with a surfboard, or for parades, festivals and shows. It is now outside under a tarp in Vermont and I am very motivated to sell it before the snow arrives.
