This custom 1968 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition Resto-Mod fastback conversion was fully reconditioned. Almost every nut and bolt are new on this completely fresh, "out of the wrapper" full rotisserie Resto-Mod with shake-down miles only. Underneath the distinctive domed Eleanor hood sits a Roush-supercharged intercooled Ford Gen 3 Coyote 5.0-liter fuel-injected aluminum block engine rated at 750hp, which is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine exhales through ceramic headers and a 2.5-inch exhaust that exits through the side rockers. It was designed to deliver the Eleanor styling yet updated with a modern fuel-injected engine and modern upgraded suspension for improved reliability and performance. All the 1967 factory suspension was replaced with modern technology. The new suspension assembly includes upgraded 5-link rear suspension with adjustable coilovers, a Ford 9-inch rear end and front adjustable coilover shocks with hydro-electric steering. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. In addition, the engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator and electric fan. It was professionally finished in a proprietary-blend Pepper Gray Metallic two-stage PPG exterior paint with black Rally body stripes and generous layers of clearcoat over the top. The underside of the car and engine compartment areas were prepared as meticulously as the exterior and painted in the body color, with many coats of clear to allow it to be wiped down with ease. In addition, the exterior body gaps and alignment are laser-straight, and the fit and finish of the scoops and custom body modifications were hand-fitted for 90-degree seams. Everything is Eleanor-correct, right down to the proper sequential taillights, bullet-style side-view mirror and Eleanor-style flip-up gas-filler lid. It also has all the movie-correct Eleanor body modifications and accessories, including the side-exit dual exhaust and the wired "Go Baby Go" NOS-armed dash switch (non-operational), Eleanor nitrous bottle and shifter knob. This fastback rolls on custom Eleanor-style wheels with beefy performance tires for an aggressive stance. The all-new deluxe interior features custom "Gone in 60 Seconds" embroidered seats and a custom center console with stainless-steel billet trim on the dash and door panels. The rear area is equipped with a matching factory-style fold-down seat with the NOS bottle located behind it. It also has a custom-painted roll bar with certified seat belt harnesses. The factory-style dash cluster is fitted with retro-style, brand-new modern Velocity gauges and a custom wood-style vintage steering wheel. Sound is provided by a RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. All the accessories, extensive gauges and lighting - including the front driving lights and fog lights - operate and function correctly with the flip of a toggle switch. The car has custom show-ready red LED lighting in the engine area, cabin and exterior ground effects. In addition, between the rear taillights is a custom "Gone in 60 Seconds" rear-lit, laser-cut logo that lights up in color. This car was equipped with vintage-style modern ice-cold air conditioning and has an electronic trunk release that reveals two 12-volt batteries in the trunk area. This example was granted an official license and Certificate of Authenticity issued by Eleanor Licensing LLC for Eleanor's character, looks and image as it appeared in the 2000 film "Gone in 60 Seconds" and comes with the Genuine Eleanor Certification paperwork, Eleanor Body VIN Plate and emblems issued by Gone in 60 Seconds LLC. It comes complete with a full start-to-finish build book with over 150 restoration photos.
