Bodie Stroud and is powered by a 429ci 8-cylinder engine paired
with a Hurst Shifter-controlled 4-speed manual transmission.
Factory-optioned equipment includes drag pack, power front disc
brakes, power steering, functional front spoiler, competition
suspension, trunk-mounted battery and raised-white-letter tires.
Other options include a deluxe black interior, electronic clock,
tachometer and AM radio. This Mustang has KarKraft No. 2339 and
retains its original "KK 429 NASCAR" door tag and VIN time. This
example is one of 500 produced for the model year, and one of 89
examples produced in Calypso Coral. It was built in Dearborn, MI,
and is one of 13 that were shipped to the Los Angeles district and
sold new at Galpin Ford. This example was acquired by the current
owner in 1979 and has been maintained by Constance Nunes from the
Netflix series "Car Masters." The sale includes a framed Elite
