Vehicle Description
This custom 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer started life as a highly
optioned 4x4 Cheyenne and recently received a no-expense-spared,
complete frame-off restoration. It's powered by a new GM
Performance LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine backed by a 3-speed automatic
transmission with an NP205 transfer case. The engine bay has a
smooth firewall and painted inner fenders. Both the front and rear
ends were completely rebuilt. Upgraded features include GM
Performance valve covers, headers, a Vintage Air system, power
steering, power disc brakes, new steering box, Warn hubs and
all-new suspension. The frame was sandblasted and powder-coated,
and the bottom of the cab was Raptor-lined. The exterior panels
were completely stripped to bare metal by way of acid-dippin, and
then blocked, primed and finished in Hugger Orange and white with
many coats of House of Kolor clearcoat. It was then wet-sanded and
buffed to a mirror-like shine. All the chrome trim, stainless,
seals and glass are new. This custom K5 sits on a 4-inch lift with
new 35-inch Mickey Thompson wheels. The new interior features
houndstooth seats with all-new foam and seat tracks, headliner,
seals, dash pad, carpet, door panels and armrest. It also features
a new tilt steering column with gauges and factory tachometer and
all-new bezels and switches. Documentation includes over $50,000 in
paint and body invoices. The sale includes a completely restored
hardtop finished in white, as well as the original Protect-O-Plate
and owner's manual. ** PREVIEW
