Vehicle Description
This custom 1971 Ford Bronco was completed by Maxlider in March
2024 and is powered by a Ford Performance Gen 3 5.0-liter Coyote V8
engine linked to a 4R70W automatic transmission with overdrive,
custom-built by Bowler Performance Transmission, and linked to an
Atlas transfer case with twin-stick controls. The engine also
features a heavy-duty Ron Davis radiator, custom intake and
starter, and a Vintage Air system cooling fan, all exhaling out of
a stainless-steel exhaust system. The engine bay was treated with
Polyurea bed-liner material. A Kincer Chassis 23-gallon
stainless-steel gas tank was installed. It also features a
heavy-duty Tom Wood driveshaft connecting a Currie Dana 44 front
axle and a Ford 9-inch rear end. A Dennis Carpenter tub was mounted
on a powder-coated Throttle Down Kustoms frame over a 1-inch body
lift. It comes to a stop using Wilwood brakes mounted under 17-inch
American Racing wheels. The exterior features replacement glass and
weather seals, AMP Research power-retractable steps, LED courtesy
lights, black-out LED headlights and a swing-out spare tire
carrier. Aftermarket bumpers were installed and finished to match
the body. The Bimini top is currently mounted, and a full soft-top
is included in the sale. This Bronco rolls on American Racing
17x9-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain
KO2 tires. Inside features include heated front bucket seats and a
folding rear bench seat, which were retrimmed in black upholstery.
The door panels were also retrimmed and fitted with blacked-out
hardware. A Tuffy locking center console and upholstered armrest
were also installed, along with a Kincer Chassis/Krawlers Edge
6-point family roll cage, a Vintage Air system, 3-point seat belts
and power windows. The dashboard was replaced and refinished to
match the exterior, and a harness from American Autowire was
utilized. Dakota Digital RTX LED instruments were installed, along
with a black wood-rimmed steering wheel mounted on an Ididit tilt
column. The reset five-digit odometer shows 472 miles,
approximately 150 of which were added under the current ownership.
