Very clean and fast 1968 Austin Healey Sprite Mark IV for sale. This triple black example is equipped with a high-quality rebuilt engine, Nissan 5-speed manual transmission, Memphis Audio Controller with Bluetooth, and over $30,000 in receipts over the last 4 years and 8,000 miles! This is a fantastic performing Sprite for any performance-minded enthusiast!
The 1275 cc A-Series I4 purrs and runs smoothly. It was fully rebuilt by Sports & Collector Car Center in late 2020 just 8,000 miles ago including bronze valve guides, an upgraded cross-drilled cam, dual row timing chain, and all high-quality components. At 76k miles the suspension was gone through with new bushings, shocks, and more. More recently a rebuilt Nissan 5-speed transmission was installed with all new clutch components and shifts flawlessly. All receipts are available upon request.
The exterior paint shows well, it is an older yet good-looking driver-quality finish with some flaws and small chips yet it still looks good. (all photos are available in high resolution upon request). The glass looks nice and the trim looks mostly original yet presentable as-is. New chrome wire wheels were installed in 2020 and look great. They are wrapped in Kumho Solus 155/80 R13 with 90%+ tread. This is a nice-looking Sprite!
The cockpit is tidy and comfortable with nice rugs, panels, and upholstery. The dash looks nice with working gauges, an upgraded steering wheel, a Memphis Audio Controller with Bluetooth, and removable rear speakers. The top and boot cover are present.
This is a great little high-performance classic British sportscar with excellent mechanical upgrades and perfect for any Sprite or MG Midget enthusiast!
