For Sale at Auction: 1953 Dodge Power Wagon in Scottsdale, Arizona
This 1953 Dodge Power Wagon pickup is powered by the original 230ci
6-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. A new
master cylinder was installed, brake lines were replaced, an
electric fuel pump was installed and a kit was installed in
carburetor. This pickup was also converted to 12-volt system and
rewired. It features a new water pump, rebuilt fuel gauge, and a
new sending unit. The body was removed to repair and paint, and the
frame was sandblasted and painted, but it has all the original
sheet metal, except the tailgate. The exterior features a redone
bed with new wood and strips, all window glass was replaced and it
has the original 7500-pound winch. It rolls on four new 900x16 NDT
tires, including a like-new spare. Inside, the headliner was
replaced and the original seats were recovered. The seller states
the speedometer works but shows half the actual speed; however, the
mileage indicator is working correctly.
