for the model year. Selecting the WT1-code Judge Package added $337
to the GTO sticker price and started with a standard 400/366hp V8
Ram Air III engine. Power is backed by a factory 4-speed manual
transmission and Safe-T-Track differential. Higher-rate springs and
recalibrated shocks enhanced the handling characteristics of this
consistent 14-second dragstrip performer. The exterior features a
body-color flexible Endura front bumper surrounded a blacked-out
twin-element grille with optioned retractable headlight covers,
dual functional hood scoops that "ram" fresh, cool air to the
engine, while a 60-inch-wide wing graced the rear deck. This
example is finished in its original shade of Carousel Red paint
(which is more orange than red in hue), topped by body side stripes
and period-correct badging and decals. This is accented by original
PHS Silver-painted Rally II wheels, devoid of bright trim rings and
wrapped in factory-style tires. The car features its original
