Vehicle Description
This 1968 Dodge Dart GTS convertible is one of 271 built for the
model year. It is powered by a 340ci V8 engine with 4-barrel
carburetor backed by a 727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic
transmission. The exterior features an original power-operated
white top, original chrome nosepiece, front disc brakes, power
steering and driver's-side remote-operated mirror. It underwent a
complete and comprehensive restoration and was painted in its
original red PP-1 paint. The interior features bucket seats in the
original color of white, console, factory air conditioning and
AM/FM radio. The previous owner, a Dart collector, owned this
example for 22 years, during which he had the professional
restoration completed. The sale includes a binder with 95
professional pictures, 75 pages of invoices from the restoration,
85 pictures from the restoration and the May 2001 New York
registration.
