This 1970 Ford Ranchero GT is one of 190 produced for the model
year and is powered by a matching-numbers M-code 351ci Cleveland V8
engine, factory-rated at 300hp, and connected to a matching-numbers
4-speed Toploader manual transmission. It was ordered with several
options, including hideaway headlamps, power steering and an Extra
Cooling Package. Upgrades to the engine include a March pulley
system, Edelbrock carburetor and intake, MSD distributor and an
aluminum radiator for improved reliability. The bumper brackets
have all been powder-coated black. This example is finished in a
Calypso Coral Orange finish with red laser stripes, an option
offered by Ford for the model year. The restored black bucket-seat
interior features red SMS fabric comfort-weave inserts, a center
console with a shift plate and ash tray, a Hurst T-handle 4-speed
shifter, an AM/FM Classic radio with Blam 6.5-inch speakers and
Bluetooth connection. It's also equipped with a Vintage Air system,
power brakes, NOS shoulder and lap belts, and other NOS parts
throughout the restoration. It rides on period-correct chrome
15-inch Magnum wheels with Mickey Thompson tires. This Ranchero GT
was originally ordered and delivered to Read Mullan Motor Company
in Phoenix, AZ, and includes a Read Mullan Ford sticker. The sale
also includes a framed Deluxe Marti Report, a delivery order form,
the Protect-O-Plate from the original owner, a warranty card and a
binder with receipts and restoration photos. The seller states the
vehicle has some minor issues, including the fuel gauge jumps and
is not entirely accurate, the undercarriage is not redone, the horn
pad does not work and the heater is bypassed. **TITLED AS 1970 FORD
