Vehicle Description
This 1974 Volkswagen 23-window microbus re-creation underwent a
comprehensive restoration by A&J Revival in Brazil. Under the
hood is a completely rebuilt factory-original 1,500cc 4-cylinder
engine featuring a custom air filter, aluminum crank pulley,
adjustable tensioner and alternator pulleys. A new carburetor,
distributor, ignition coil, spark plugs and cables were also
installed to optimize performance. The drivetrain is backed by a
rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission with a new shift lever. The
restoration extended to the suspension, steering and braking
systems, all rebuilt with new original Volkswagen parts. The
electrical system was overhauled and converted to a modern 12-volt
setup, including a new alternator, voltage regulator and battery.
Externally, this minibus sits on original wide, splint-painted
steel wheels with German VW chrome hubcaps. The entire frame and
bodywork underwent restoration before receiving a two-tone original
Volkswagen paint job in Paina White and Tiffany Blue. This vehicle
features new VW logos, front grille, original side mirrors,
headlight grilles, windshield wiper arms and a split windshield
with chrome front safari-model openings. It was enhanced with a
large retractable panoramic canvas sunroof and period VW Samba
skylight windows. Inside, the cabin is completely redone with a
custom interior in Ivory White and beige, including door panels and
a headliner. The original seats, refurbished with new foam and
springs, are upholstered in eco-friendly Ivory White and beige
leather with standard VW stitching. This minibus accommodates nine
passengers and includes luggage racks at the front and rear, and
complete with a retractable steel and wood ladder for additional
storage and vintage appeal. ** PREVIEW
