Vehicle Description
This custom 1968 Plymouth GTX underwent a complete rotisserie
restoration and is powered by a stroked-to-505ci fuel-injected
engine backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission and Dana 60 rear
axle with 3.54 ratio gears. The engine is equipped with an Xtreme
Energy 254/260 solid roller cam, COMP Cams 1.5-ratio aluminum
roller rocker arms, COMP Cams solid roller lifters, Schumacher
adjustable torque strap, a billet pulley system, a dual-quad
throttle body FiTech fuel-injection system with LCD display, Indy
Cylinder race heads, Indy intake manifold and Indy valve covers.
This GTX also has a Be Cool Show and Go dual-fan radiator, custom
billet air cleaner, Mopar electronic ignition, 100-amp chrome
alternator, a polished air-conditioning compressor, a chrome power
steering pump, TTi custom headers and a chrome power disc brake
booster and master cylinder. The suspension features polyurethane
bushings and Hotchkis sport suspension components, including front
and rear sway bars, HEMI torsion bars and leaf springs, KYB shocks
and 4-wheel power disc brakes. It rides on a set of Magnum 500
wheels with BFGoodrich white-letter tires. All chrome is
triple-plated, while the grille, glass and polished trim are clean.
The exterior was prepped and coated with an epoxy primer and then
finished in Inferno Red Crystal Metallic. Dynamat was installed in
the interior and trunk, while the fender and quarter wells are
protected with 3M Body Shutz coating. The fully restored interior
features a Vintage Air system (which still needs to be hooked up),
along with a polished compressor, rebuilt gauge cluster by Redline
Gauge Works, bucket seats, a floor shifter, power windows, a
wood-grain steering wheel, a wood-grain console, and vinyl top and
glass. It also features a fully finished trunk featuring a JL Audio
