Vehicle Description
This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette was professionally restored over three
years, underwent a fresh, frame-off rotisserie restoration and only
has 125 shakedown miles since completion. This Corvette Resto-Mod
offers both the iconic 1957 styling along with modern upgraded
suspension and driveline. It is powered by a freshly rebuilt
5.7-liter dual-quad-powered engine mated to a Turbo 400 3-speed
automatic transmission. It rides on a custom powder-coated Corvette
chassis with independent front and rear suspension, a posi-traction
rear end with 3.54 gears, rack & pinion steering, adjustable front
coilover suspension, and billet aluminum upper and lower control
arms and spindles. Braking is managed by a Wilwood master cylinder
and 4-wheel Wilwood brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. It
rides on custom-built Schott wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich G-Force
ZR-rated performance tires. Other upgrades include power steering,
Sanderson exhaust, an external transmission cooler and fan,
high-volume oil pan, high-torque starter, high-performance aluminum
radiator and an aluminum driveshaft. The chassis is highly
detailed, as is the engine compartment, which features
color-matched Cosmic Carbon paneling. The show-quality exterior is
finished in a Cobalt Blue Metallic paint with complementary Cosmic
Carbon-painted coves with a manual convertible soft-top hidden
under the tonneau cover. The custom Butter Cream interior features
leather seats with monogramed Corvette emblems, restored gauges and
a modern Wonder Bar retro-style radio. The trunk area is also
trimmed out in matching upholstery. The Corvette emblem on the
trunk lid was designed to be a matching third brake light, and the
car has vintage 1957 California gold plates. ** PREVIEW
