This Vockal-built custom 1986 GMC Jimmy is powered by a 6.2-liter
GM Performance 525 LS3 V8 engine with a Stage 2 525hp upgrade, GM
Performance fuel injectors, Melling high-flow oil pump, and Holley
Performance fuel rails, accessory drive and vintage coil covers.
That power is backed by a 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission, a
modern GMT 4-wheel-drive chassis, manual transfer case, Body
Control Module and GM HD axles with 3.73 gears. This Jimmy also
features GM independent front suspension, GM 4-link rear
suspension, front and rear sway bars, a hitch receiver with trailer
brake wire provision and a single 26-gallon fuel cell. Other
equipment includes Hedman ceramic-coated long-tube headers, a
MagnaFlow dual exhaust with Y-pipe crossover, new American Autowire
wiring, a GM Connect and Cruise wiring harness, MilSpec woven wire
looming, GM power rack & pinion steering and an anti-roll bar.
Additionally, this vehicle has a BDS 4-inch lift kit, Fox coilover
front and rear shocks, Wilwood 6-piston disc brakes with 14-inch
drilled and slotted rotors, a hydro-boost-powered Wilwood master
cylinder, year-specific radiator core support, and a cold-air
intake and cooling stack for the radiator/condenser/transmission
cooler and fans. The Jimmy rides on 18-inch KMC wheels wrapped in
Amp Terrain Attack tires. The interior features full
matching-coordinated Alcantara leather and Relicate plaid seats,
door panels, dash pad and a Bentley suede headliner. It also is
equipped with a 6-way adjustable tilt steering column, a Dakota
Digital HDX gauge cluster, RetroSound radio with Bluetooth and
8-speaker sound system, a 4K live-view rearview mirror with backup
camera, and a Restomod Air system for heating and cooling.
Additional interior amenities include power windows, power locks
with an iKey key fob and security alarm, cruise control, reclining
bucket seats, a secure gun lockbox and a center-seat fold-down
