Vehicle Description
This 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is powered by its original 440ci
Six-Pack engine with 390hp and backed by a 4-speed manual
transmission, with an all-matching-numbers engine, transmission and
rear end. The engine was built by Timmy Petty, top-end crew chief
for Richard Childress Racing, at Petty Enterprises Moonshine Speed
Shop in Level Cross, NC, on February 17, 2024. The transmission was
refurbished by renowned builder Keith Hoss of Hoss Gear Shop in
Mount Pleasant, PA, on March 20, 2023. The Dana 60 4.10 Super Track
Pack rear end was refurbished by the current owner. The entire
driveline has 5 total miles on it since the refurbishment. It had
one documented repaint in 1989 in its original HEMI Orange. Except
for the OEM left front fender, the body panels are original to the
car, including the trunk - verified by the correct die-lot stamps.
With the exception of the master cylinder, all driveline components
have the correct part numbers and dates, with full photo
documentation. All gauges and lights work as designed. The sale
includes the original Broadcast Sheet, original Fender Tag,
documented owner history with photos and receipts, a feature in the
October 2022 Mopar Action magazine and a Second-Place award from
the Mopar Nationals in Carlisle, PA, in 2020. The car is completely
documented with a 98-page Elite Wise Validation Report. ** PREVIEW
