Vehicle Description
This 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible is #44 of 815
produced in 1958 and is powered by its original 365/325hp V8 engine
topped with three Rochester carbs and paired with a 4-speed
Hydramatic automatic transmission. Stopping is provided by a
hydraulic braking system with power assist. It features a
gold-painted air cleaner, dual headlamps, wrap-around bumpers,
power black soft-top, power windows, 6-way power seat adjustment,
trunk lid with a remote trunk release, Autronic-Eye for automatic
high-beam operation, a fold-down armrest and a parade boot that
finishes off the top-down look. It is finished in its correct Rajah
Silver exterior over a Silver Cape Buffalo Metallic leather
interior, and rides on wide whitewalls mounted on aluminum Sabre
wheels with Eldorado center hubcaps. This matching-numbers example
went from the factory in Detroit directly to Windsor, Ontario,
where it spent its entire life between two owners (the same owner
of the original "raindrop" car and the current owner of more than
50 years). Having spent 30 years in storage, this convertible
received a thorough cosmetic and mechanical restoration in the
2000s. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
