Vehicle Description
This custom 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer was found in a local field and
underwent a two-year complete overhaul/restoration, with everything
for the engine, suspension, brakes and exhaust all new. This K5
Blazer is now powered by a 454ci V8 engine mated to a TH400
automatic transmission with NP205 transfer case. The ability to
shift into 4x4 mode is done using the interior floor shifter. The
engine is equipped with dual electric fans, steel braided hoses,
power steering, dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and Hedman
headers. The suspension includes a 2-inch body lift to accommodate
the 33-inch tires, along with disc brakes with brake booster. The
body is all-steel. The floor pans and wheel wells were replaced,
and the interior floors were sprayed with bed liner to protect it
from outdoor elements when using the vehicle without the top. The
interior has two bucket seats from an '80s Blazer and an original
console from a 1972 model. The interior features power windows,
all-new glass, NOS gauge cluster and retro-looking radio with
iPhone adapter. From The Laymon Family Collection. ** PREVIEW
