Gateway Classic Cars St. Louis Showroom is excited to digitally
present this beautiful 1968 Pontiac GTO. A very well done
restoration has brought this 1968 GTO clone back to a high quality
driver, capable of handling everyday use. The period correct,
Pontiac 400 V8 is topped off with an Edlebrock AVS2 carburetor and
mated with an upgraded 5-speed manual transmission, running through
an Eaton Posi-traction rear end, with 3.55 gears for better
drivability and smoother ride. The engine has been refreshed and
upgraded with a little over 7,000 miles since. Upgrades include an
O68 hydraulic solid lifter cam, plastigauge tested crankshaft, new
seals, and polished heads. Upgraded HEI distributer, power
steering, and a 4-core aluminum radiator with oversized cooling fan
provide reliability to help keep you on the road. Everything
combined brings a wonderful sound through the Flow Master dual
exhaust. Covered in beautiful Daytona Sunset Orange, the GTO also
features a new, power convertible top with new pistons for ease of
operation. Definitely a head turner.
