Built to steal market share from its European competition, Cadillac
pulled out all the stops with the XLR-V making it the quickest
accelerating and most expensive Cadillac to date at the time of its
debut.
Identified by its attractive V-series mesh grille and additional
badging, the XLR-V gains exclusive eighteen-inch wheels, polished
exhaust tips, and the hood bulge. The stylish cabin, found under a
sleek retractable hardtop, is dressed in French seams and top-grade
leather on the dash, door panels, and console, as well as on the
protective roll hoops and their surrounding trim pieces.
Under the hood resides a powerful, 443-hp, supercharged V-8, which
accelerates the XLR-V from 0 to 60 mph in a claimed 4.6 seconds.
This bespoke engine was substantially revised by GM with
performance parts including a new block and heavy-duty pistons to
handle the added demands of the roots style blower.
At the rear of the car the six-speed automatic transmission is
extremely smooth in both automatic and manumatic modes, a setting
that trips the Magnetic Ride Control into a sportier suspension
calibration keeping the car flat on initial turn-in and nicely
balanced during aggressive cornering.
The car for sale here is an excellent condition, well maintained,
low mileage XLR-V that is begging for a night out on the town or
rip through curvy mountain roads. Don't wait! Call us today to make
it yours!
