1972 HURST/OLDS INDY 500 PACE CAR. IN 1972 HURST PERFORMANCE ENTERED THE INDY PACE CAR PROGRAM FOR THE FIRST TIME. H/O CARS WERE OUTFITTED WITH THE 455 CU. IN. ENGINE, A W-25 RAM AIR HOOD AND A HURST DUAL GATE SHIFTER. THE REFLECTIVE DECAL PACKAGE REALLY LIT UP THE NIGHT. FACTS: 1972 WAS THE LOWEST PRODUCTION RUN FOR ALL H/O CARS WITH ONLY 629 TOTAL HO CARS PRODUCED. 499 WERE HARDTOPS, ONLY 160 WITH FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING. THIS UNIT HAS THE RALLY PAC GAUGES, 3:42 POSI REAR AXLE, AND VERY RARE OUTSIDE THERMOMETER ON THE DRIVER'S MIRROR. OTHER OPTIONS INCLUDE FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING AND 8 TRACK TAPE DECK (IN-OPERATABLE). AIR CONDITIONING WORKS GREAT. THIS CAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND IS LOCALLY OWNED IN BRANDON, MS.
