Under the hood, you'll find the correct and highly coveted 302ci DZ
V8 engine, upgraded with a dual-quad Cross-Ram kit and the correct
4295 Holley carburetors, backed by a Muncie M20 4-speed
transmission and BX-code 4.88 12-bolt posi-traction rear end. This
Camaro also sports a factory replacement exhaust system, delivering
that unmistakable Z/28 sound.
The restoration retained the original muscle car essence with a
radio and heater delete, dark blue upholstery, the Z21 exterior
trim package, and the desirable D80 spoiler package. The exterior
gleams with new chrome, polished trim, and correct T3 headlights,
while the fiberglass cross-ram hood adds a racing touch. You'll
also find the correct spiral shocks and new dated Soft-Ray
glass.
Attention to detail is evident throughout, with new electrical
components, a completely refreshed fuel system, brakes, and brake
lines. The car rides on 15x7 Rally wheels wrapped in period-correct
Goodyear wide tires, complete with a matching spare and the correct
jack. Authenticity was a priority in this restoration; even the
factory suspension markings and labels have been painstakingly
reapplied.
