Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is super excited to
present this very nicely done 1964 Chevrolet El Camino. By the time
the El Camino was reintroduced in 1964, the now legendary car/truck
already had quite the storied history. This 1964 El Camino project
was a labor of love over a 30-year period. This vehicle boasts a
deep black exterior that is complemented by a luxurious black
leather interior, providing an elegant and timeless driving
experience. The true beauty is the addition of the 5.7Liter LS1 V-8
with long tube headers feeding the electric cutouts so you can go
from mild to wild with the flip of a switch and is backed by a
smooth shifting a 4L60E automatic transmission putting the power to
the ground through a 12 bolt PosiTrac rear end with 3.73 gears.
It's a powerful El Camino, but it also knows how to cruise
comfortably. That's why you have easy driving features like power
steering, power brakes with front disc, cold blowing air
conditioning, Sony radio with AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth. The three-spoke
steering wheel is mounted to a tilt column and frames custom white
face AutoMeter gauges that consist of a 120-MPH speedometer, a
7k-RPM tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant
temperature, and battery voltage. This is an opportunity to pick up
a really nice 1964 El Camino at a fraction of what it took to get
it done, so don't let this one slip away!
